92nd Meeting of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank Held
The 92nd meeting of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC (SJIBPLC) was held on recently at the Board meeting room of Corporate Head Office of the Bank. The Chairman of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, Mufti Shamsuddin Zia presided over the meeting. The meeting discussed various issues related to Shari’ah compliance in overall Islamic Banking operations and provided shariah based guideline and approvals on various matters presented in the meeting.
Among others Mufti Mizanur Rahman and Mufti Abdullah Masum,Member of Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of the Bank were present in the meeting. Besides, Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO and Md. Abul Bashar, Head of Shari’ahSecretariatof the Bank were also present in the meeting.
The formal proceedings of the meeting began with the recitation from the Holy Qur’an and the meeting was concluded with Do’a and Munajat and wishing continued prosperity of the bank.
