Khazana Dhaka Crowned Champions of EGL Futsal 2026

Khazana Dhaka emerged champions of the inaugural EGL Futsal 2026, defeating Hyatt Hunters 1–0 in a closely contested final at GreenVille Outdoors on Madani Avenue in Dhaka. The tournament concluded on a high note, showcasing competitive corporate futsal marked by discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Organized by Ascott Palace Dhaka, the event was backed by Equitable Group Limited and Khazana Mithai as title sponsors, with strategic support from Hyatt Place Dhaka Uttara and Ascott Palace Dhaka. Six teams representing prominent corporate organizations took part in the competition: Hyatt Hunters, Hyatt Hurricane, Khazana Mithai, Khazana Dhaka, Ascott Monsters, and Ascott Bulldozers.

The tournament began with an engaging group stage featuring high-tempo matches and tactical play. Khazana Dhaka quickly established themselves as strong contenders with consistent performances, while Hyatt Hunters impressed with their attacking approach to secure a place in the knockout rounds.

In the semi-finals, Hyatt Hunters advanced to the final with a commanding win over Khazana Mithai, while Khazana Dhaka secured their spot by overcoming Hyatt Hurricane through a disciplined display. The results set up a highly anticipated final between two of the most consistent sides in the tournament.

The final match lived up to expectations, with both teams demonstrating organized defending and swift transitions. Khazana Dhaka broke the deadlock with a decisive goal and held firm under pressure to seal a narrow 1–0 victory and lift the championship trophy.
