Naushad Bin Islam has recently been appointed as General Manager of Hotel Grand Park Barishal, which is an icon of luxury and comfort in the heart of Barishal city.
Mr. Naushad is a distinguished hospitality leader with a career spanning over 37 years, known for his expertise in steering high-end operations and turning boutique properties into award-winning destinations. He balances technical expertise with a global perspective, particularly given his successful academic background in Austria and Thailand.
His decade-long tenure at Radisson Blu Dhaka and his recent stint at Grand Sylhet Hotel (Previously a part of Movenpick Hotels) and DuSai Resort & Spa (An award-winning 5-Star Luxury Resort) indicate he is deeply familiar with the nuances of the luxury market in Bangladesh.
He has also held senior positions in various renowned institutions, hotels and resorts throughout his professional journey, e.g. CEO at Comfort Inn Hotel Dhaka, Executive Director at USUN International Pte. Ltd, Singapore, General Manager at Bengal Canary Park Hotel, General Manager at Green View Resort & Convention Center etc.
His long experience in the hospitality industry equipped him with a strong foundation in leadership, customer service and financial management that made him capable of managing various aspects of hotel operations successfully.
For his result-oriented leadership, he was awarded ‘Best General Manager (Hospitality) by ‘International Federation of Hospitality Professionals’ and ‘CMO Global’ in 2019.
