Bahar Restaurant Launches the Weekend Highlight – Turkish Theme Buffet Dinner
Food enthusiasts in the capital are set for a rich culinary journey as Bahar Restaurant, located at the Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel, officially unveils “A Taste of Turkey.” This immersive theme buffet dinner, launching on April 30, 2026, is designed to celebrate the vibrant flavors, heritage, and world-renowned hospitality of Turkish cuisine.
The exclusive promotion will run until May 30, 2026, available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. By focusing on the weekend, the hotel aims to provide a premium destination for families and gourmands seeking a sophisticated cultural and gastronomic escape.
The curated menu reflects the diversity of traditional Turkish gastronomy, utilizing premium ingredients and authentic techniques. The journey begins at the Salad and Appetizer corner, featuring staples such as Gavurdagi Salad and Muhammara, followed by comforting bowls of traditional Turkish Lentil and Tarhana soups. A deep dive into Turkish culture is further provided through a spread of cold mezes—including Haydari and Babaganoush—and hot appetizers like Sigara Boregi and Findik Lahmacun.
The heart of the buffet highlights the richness of Anatolian cuisine with signature dishes such as Karniyarik (stuffed eggplant) and Etli Nohut. To enhance the dining experience, the restaurant has introduced live culinary stations where guests can witness the preparation of Doner Kebab, traditional Pide flatbreads, and various Dolma specialties. A particular highlight is the Ottoman Carving Station, which pays tribute to imperial grandeur with dishes like Hünkar Beğendi and succulent roasted lamb.
The evening concludes with an extensive dessert selection that includes world-famous Baklava, Turkish Delight (Lokum), and Sutlac. A live Kunefe station serves the iconic cheese-filled pastry fresh and hot, ensuring a memorable finale to the feast.
