We expect these talented individuals to honor this trust through their hard work and integrity. Achieving good academic results alone is not enough for success in life; to become a truly successful person, one must integrate honesty, humanity, morality, discipline and patriotism into one’s life alongside the pursuit of knowledge. A bank’s success cannot be measured solely by financial indicators; the positive impact we make on people’s lives is also a crucial benchmark of our success. Through this scholarship program, our aim to enable meritorious students from financially disadvantaged families to continue their education, realize their dreams and eventually reach a position where they can contribute to society and the nation.
The Managing Director of the Bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed said that a bank’s primary responsibility is to stimulate economic activities. However, we also believe that the role of a responsible bank cannot be confined solely to banking services; we bear a social responsibility towards society, the people of the country and future generations. Education is a crucial area for fulfilling this responsibility. Educating a single individual can enable them to transform the lives of countless others in the future; thus, investment in education yields the most enduring benefits.
Education is the only medium capable of bringing about a fundamental transformation in a nation. We hope that by acquiring true education and knowledge, you will one day lead this country forward.
